Home » Mental Health Support Worker (Female only) Dunipace
We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, energetic, fun and caring individuals to join our team here at the Developing Dunipace Service.
The individuals we support within this service all have their own specific interests and needs, however a common theme is that they all enjoy a day out socialising together, Whether that be simply a walk in the park or lunching out, they all would agree there is nothing better than an adventure away from the doors.
They want individual people to come and join the Dunipace team who will treat them as individuals, take them places they wish to go and do things with them that they enjoy doing. As individuals they all like different things, but are always up for exploring different activities.
The people we support here, like us all, can have days where they are not as upbeat and up for the fun things in life. These are the days when they probably need us the most and the great support we provide to them, we will ensure that you are enriched with the specific knowledge for all of the supported individuals to ensure you know how to respond in any given situation with the supported individuals, to support them through any difficult days they may face.
Please do not worry if you have no direct experience within this field of work as we train you specifically and our supported individuals will always keep you in check telling you just how they like you to do things. More importantly, know that personal care is only a very small part of this role and for some of the supported individuals it is not necessary at all.
Those with high empathy and tolerance along with a great sense of humour are key to success within this role, at times this can be a challenging but it is outstandingly such a rewarding role.
If this sounds like a role you might be interested in then we want to hear from you.
Hours of Work
We do offer flexible working contracts, however we also require a degree of flexibility in your approach to your work. Various shift patterns available which can include weekend working, evenings, and sleepovers. Weekend working is one weekend off/on.
