Kingdom Fest returned on Friday 7 August, and this year it went Hawaiian. Kingdom Support and Care’s James Bank service hosted the annual summer party at Parkgate Community Centre in Rosyth, and the sunshine theme was hard to miss.

Guests arrived in Hawaiian shirts, leis and grass skirts, and the hall matched the mood. Bright colours and tropical decorations turned the community centre into a beach party for the afternoon.

Food was a big part of the day. There was a buffet of burgers and hot dogs, a table of cakes, and strawberry punch to wash it all down. Music played through the hall, and it wasn’t long before people were up and dancing.

As the afternoon warmed up, things moved outside for a proper cool down. Water guns and sponges came out, and a few brave staff members even volunteered for the stocks, giving everyone a good laugh (and a good soaking).

Kingdom Fest 2026 was a great day out for everyone involved. Thanks to the James Bank staff and the supported individuals who helped put it together.
