Karen Woods joined Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) In January as the new Coordinator of our Falkirk services.  We caught up with Karen to learn about her pre-Kingdom experience and her initial impressions of our organisation.

How long have you worked in social care?

I have worked in the care sector for just short of nine years.  Two of those years were at a supervisory level, while I’ve been a Care Coordinator for the last four years.

What are your initial impressions of working with KSC?

My initial impressions of the company are all very positive.  I have been made to feel extremely welcome, while I have been well supported.  I am really impressed by how well the whole organisation works as a team.

What are you most looking forward to in the job?

I very much look forward to settling into my new position, gaining as much knowledge as I can along the way.  I am also keen to get to know the individuals we support, their families and our staff, and to building relationships with them all.
